Donate Money
Last Updated/Confirmed: September 11th, 2002
NOTE: For the most part, charities are no longer accpeting donations
for the victims families. The main fund, The September 11th Fund, still has
millions of dollars to distribute. If you are in need of assistance, please
contact them.
There
are several ways you can donate money to assist
in this tragedy. Some funds go specifically to victims of
the World Trade disaster. Some go to victims, fire fighters,
police and others. Some go towards immediate and long-term
relief of those affected and their communities (September 11th Fund).
Others (Red Cross-based) go to national disaster funds.
All of this is usually detailed somewhere within the fund's website.
